El Bebe - Navy Yard, DC
The tacos are presented really beautifully, they are a little on the smaller side so if you're starving you might want to get a number of things in addition to the tacos like queso dip or guacamole and chips. Try the bulgogi taco. It was perfect including with the texture from the peanuts, the juice that marinated the short rib just soaking. Pairs great with the Clasico margarita.

‘El Bebe’ (he drinks) was a great addition to the Navy Yard area. Even though the mega bar Mission isn’t situation too far, El Bebe has a uniqueness and authenticity which is reflected in the food, specialty cocktails, and décor. If you are a Nats fan, it makes for a great pre and post gaming pitstop.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t’ appreciate this sign.
This taco has a lot of potential of the tamarind sauce is tempered down just a bit. The amount somewhat overpowers the tasty, milder cauliflower and is quite tart. This may be a preference for some people so don’t be reluctant to try it out.
Must be one of the best bites on the menu. The marinated beef is juicy, flavorful, and succulent and is the star that shines bright. Everything down to the peanuts for texture is perfect.
It’s hard to have tacos in a Mexican restaurant and not be tempted to try at least one margarita, especially a classic. When you have had so many it is hard not to compare them. El Bebe’s signature falls mid range. It tastes a bit watered down for some reason and the limey punch doesn't really hit home. The spice factor however? Hits the spot.
